Bit of a cock up

Server experienced problems with the database, it was a software problem that has been corrected, as a result i have had to restore last nights backups

    Mike, what are you using for a backend database? I guess it's probably NOT SQL Server. But if it is then this might come in handy in future: http://www.red-gate.com/sql/sql_log_rescue.htm. I wrote the scripting engine and a lot of the UI for it, and an extremely bright PhD guy wrote the recovery engine. Works like a dream for most things (apart from bulk inserts which aren't properly logged). Also, if any of you other IT bods work with SQL Server this is one of those things that could save your butt if it all goes horribly wrong. There should be a video demonstration going up on the site in the next few days. Anyway, sorry, slightly shameless plug over.
