Looks a good enough car.

Ad is a bit long-winded.

Some of the mods are go-faster.

Even though most peeps want a car that goes quick - most buyers do not want to think of their next prospective buy being driven quick previously.

Strange but true.

Drop the mentions of mods - emphasise the amount it has been cared for, weekend use-summer use only.

List the service dates, not the work done.

Make it sound like this is a loved car.

ad is a wee bit clinical just now.

My ads always say - "best in country" or "loved and cherished car" that kinda stuff.

Also, get lods more pics up.

Re pics - take the car to a site with no background or foreground to confuse the issue - beside a lake or out in the country is ideal.

Have a look at other pics on ebay to see what I mean.

If the car is at the side of the road with rubble lying, a scap car at the back and a caravan with busted window to the side then it looks like you are buying from an area not unlike downtown Beirut. The car may well be a great car, but in the buyers mind they are buying into the area. Not yer best.

I take pics at side of a lake to focus the eye on the car. Ideally as the sun is low in the sky - better definition without shadows, a s at midday.

If I do not have time, I take the car to a hotel near me - it has a long drive up to a sandstone frontage - park at the side -looks like you own a large house. :)

Folks with large houses and plenty dosh tend to hand the car to garages with the instructions - make it perfect, regardless of cost.

This is the mind of a buyer and although you are not lying, you are creating an image in their mind which must be positive.

Close up pics show you have nothing to hide.

Hope this helps, mate.

Of course, if the car has already sold, then all this typing is just a waste of time.

:)

It looks like a nice example so I've no idea. I'm pretty certain it was also up for sale in January of this year (on eBay again) when I was still looking. I didn't bid for it because it was an auto and I specifically wanted a manual, and because I don't like single big-bore exhausts. Both of these are obviously just my opinion: to be honest it looks like a good car, nice and clean, and well looked after.
