got mt short shifter from ebay this morning,"Bling!"

took me 1hr 1/2 to fit all done from inside, bit of a pain getting to the bolt at the end of the shifter nut . it's a very short change now and has stopped the crunching in 4th but 5th still alittle bit.

not bad for £33 + 8 p+p

your need two 12mm ring spanners to get the nut off the end of the shifter and i had to take about 1 mmm of the end of each polly bush,basicly the first lip has to go or it will not fit in the u bracket, sorry i didn't take and install pic's just too hot to faf around with cam

yeh my old one and i payed £80 for mine,didnt like it so gave it to legrath to tight with s shifter and gear changes were not improved

Problem is if you change too quick on a Z, you crunch the gears. Getting a short shift means you change gear quicker and then cruch more often.

So you have to change gear slower.

he thought he did , but after i felt my new one i don't think so

 

Well....we compared them this afternoon and they seemed the same....
