Well, been there Saturday - top day, got sunburned (take sunscreen if you're going Sunday!).

Loads of great things too see and more Zs arriving all the time. Saw my dream car - a Fortune kitted Supra - although it didn't look quite as good as I hoped in the flesh.

Nice to meet some folks from the forum too and saw some top Zs.

Kept me eye open for you Pete Shrimp but what with all the crowds, I had no chance mate, no chance! Maybe bump into you at JAE.

Might make it back Sunday but not likely.

Have a great day on Sunday all those going.

Mr Greddy asked me to let you all know that to get to the 300ZX area it's a left turn at the army firing range tent on the way in.

I'm not going myself :( but wish I was

where is everyone ??

Yep it woz hot 2day!. I got there bout 8.30Am, parked in fire up road, signed on ,and waited. I was about 10th pair out to run.

The track was well prepped and I ran a 15.20 straight off.

Traction seemed OK, so 2nd run I just launched a bit harder.

Ran a 15.142 at 91.46 mph terminal. 60ft time of 2.19.

My best run of the season, showing that headers on an N/A are well worth doing.

Just for the recored, the spec for that run was......

Standard fully trimmed car. Standard spec Import N/A EXCEPT for Stillen High Flow intake system," E-bay" sourced tubular headers matched to full custom build zorst by Blueflame. Pair rear Kumho V70A 245/45-16 road legal track tyres at 12-14 lbs pressure.

I'm now launching at over 4000 revs and pulling 7000 plus in all the gears, so I dont think there is much more to come from this spec!!!

I need more power!!!(but NOT TURBOS!!!!) :slap:

I need more power!!!(but NOT TURBOS!!!!) :slap:

i was hoping my car would be ready by today so could go for a qualifying time for ten of the best but its not................ more cars then normal seemed to be breaking today, prob due to the heat, still some good times were put up considering the conditions

Once again Ive had a brilliant day, to say it was hot is an under-statement I have now got the reddest head in the world.

Times were sh1t my best was 16.5 but I enjoy every second of achieving those sh1t times, to be honest I got pretty high on Slick Petes elation on his times (15.1 in an N/A) FOOKIN WELL DONE PETE!!! I'm well impressed and well made up for ya. :D :D :D

Now if you dont mind I'll have a little winge.....This was a national event that I'm sure had a lot of effort put into organising it, dont know about yesterday but today there was only about 16 cars...how many members are WE???

Winge over...I'm sure a few more pepes would have enjoyed the day if they'd have got there ;)

 Just like to say Big up for Chunk for getting us in the club area & organising a top meet as usual  . He even arrange the bloody sun to cum n burn us all lol  . It was good to put some faces to names (deve8, Max Sunny, Cybernet) etc if i forgot any one its cus I got bloody sun stroke  . A great day all in all, but as Steve said I was deffo expecting a better show from the club after all the organisation that went into it  . Anywho off for another ice cold smirnoff ice from the fridge. :nana2:

Sorry I couldn't make it back on Sunday (was there Saturday).
