just acquired a 3d card - Nvidia Quadro FX1000 - feckin brill - didnt pay owt for it and it retails at about £400-600 :)

for those of you with a 3d card, you can goto NASA's Website and download Whirlwind.

 

just google NASA WHIRLWIND

 

Its a satellite view of the earth - you can zoom in close - but not house close - but anywhere in the world. You can see motorways, fields, large monuments etc

 

Use NLT LAndsat 7 when you get it and zoom in anywhere in the UK for best results.
