Hi Guys,

Now a question. I was told that my 300ZX TT Import will hable 110 octane AVGAS is this true.

If it was i was thinking in using at a race day, just for that day. Don't want to goose my engine, any ideas???

Could you also mix it with normal 95 Ron to get a lower ron that would be safer for your engine i.e 100Ron??

I don't think you can mix them reliably. I'm no chemist but don't they have different densities and would seperate?? it's not like oil and water because they are very different (ions, unpaired electrons and some such). But i'm pretty sure they seperate slightly. one minute your fuel pump is pushing through one type and another the next.

anyone?

Well octane booster for example must be v v high RON to be able to raise a whole tank full as much as it does. I guess it might contain mixing agent stuff though. I'd have thought it would be alright anyway, although theres not much point if you aren't advancing the timing for example.
