Afternoon all.

At last ive found a site that might help me sort out the 300zx we currently have hold of. Im from the uk and currently have the 2+2 zx tt (we think).

Heres a few pictures of the car anyhow.

 

Anyhow id just like to say hi to everyone on the forum!

We have several problems trying to get this car started. I shall post in the technical forum about these mind.

I think I know why its not starting, your battery is missing ;) (sorry :rolleyes: )

Im in the westmids near brum.

 

The car itself will turn over fine. But the engine check light stays on and it just turns and pops slightly. Then when you turn the screw on the ecu into diagnostic mode it flashes up a code of 34 which we think is the deternation sensor. But we wouldnt think this would stop it. hmm.

But if theres more faults will it read out the other codes or will it not until we have fixed the first fault. Absolute pain!!

Shame means the thing sounds so close to firing

 

we have checked all the injection system/fueling ect and all seems fine.

ran the fuel pipe from a seperate pump and supply to make sure its fueling.

I would try the CAS(Cam Angle Sensor, front right cam cover) mine wouldn't run but sounded like it wanted to, bad wiring

Theres a wuick updat eint he technical on how were getting on with this car. Bloody pain!!! lol! :tongue:

 

Worst thing is im starting to like these things very much. And im changing cars later this year. Should i be tempted! lol
