Just want to recommend this bit of software to anyone with a smartphone or pda. You get a GPS unit and it works incredible - easy to use (Even on my C500 phone) :)

 

I got my phone for free from orange - got the gps & software and I now have a fully fledged GPS unit to use wherever I go.

Second that. Top bit of kit, use it on my PDA.

 

Now that I have a PC installed in the car with 7" screen, I was looking for a PC alternative...and none of them are as good as the PDA TomTom version :(

I loved the tomtom pda (V3) but in honesty I think the Tomtom mobile for smartphones is even easier to use :)

 

Shame C500 has a small screen but I find it easier and quicker than tomtom on my pda.

How much is the kit for the C500?

Official retail is £180 or thereabouts

 

The software also works with any GPS receiver (about £75) ;)

tomtom will NOT just sell you software though.
