Yes it was good to meet you in person at last, after so much E-mails, PM's, and telephone conversations. After our lunch together we went to the paint shop to pick a colour for Danny's car, at 15:40 we left the paint shop and Peter (PPS) was under the impression that our plane would leave 17:30 so we had plenty of time, but our plane would leave at 16:30. So we had to hurry to get in 20 minutes from the paint shop to the airport.

To make a long story short…. we missed our plane.

Peter tried to arrange another flight but the only possibility was Saturday morning at 6:30 so we had to stay in Newcastle for the night. First I was not very happy about that, I was so tired after not sleeping for about 36 hours. But after we had visited some pubs we found out the next time we visit Newcastle we will be one day >>to early

Pleas let me know when you want to come over, I will try to arrange a nice stay over in Amsterdam for you.

Dumb and Dumber LOL I just fell off my chair reading that!

After me drinkind 10 -12 pints of lager & guiness, Danny drinking 15 cokes, 40 hours of no sleep, no teethbrush, no soap,......... There was only one thing for both of us and that was sleeping.

 

Question: Are all the ladies in Newcastle always so well dressed on a Friday night or was it because we were expected ??

And let me just clarify that, just in case my wife reads all this, although my name is Danny and I too am Dutch I had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with what went on in Newcastle ;) LOL
