Not 100% sure, but pretty certain its a clip on cover, 3 piece.

Got the name Lonza in the bottom rear corner.

Cheers & thanx.

Alan.....

Great looking Z, real clean engine bay. It's gotta suck to have to put that huge license plate (registration) on the front of your Z.

Glad you brought that up mate !!

Is there any accessories available that would allow me to mount it in the front edge of the bumper ?? Sure I seen a Zed on this forum with my front, or similiar and it had the plate on the front ??

Dont really want to put it in the mesh grille. ;)

Thats ma boy !!

I don't know of an accessory for that application. You had mentioned that you are a coachbuilder, so I would think that you would have the skill to do this. I guess it depends on how serious you are on doing this. Of course my idea might be off of the planet.

Not knowing how the center section of your grill is configured, (solid ?) but it looks big enough to suspend from the top with a stainless/steel hinge, now this is where it gets creative.

Attach a pull cable (smallest you can find) to the plate and run it into the cabin where you can pull the plate up and out of view when you are driving down the road.

Now if you get pulled over for not having a front plate, before you stop, push the cable so the plate is now down.

Or just leave the plate on the hinge, so when your driving down the road the wind will blow it up out of the way, when you stop it falls back down.

It's just an out of the box thought, but the main focus is to have fun in your ZED. LATER
