thought it would need soldering in but all i needed to do was pull old one out and push new one in :hyper: is this what they call piggyback ecu or what :confused:

anyone else just had to push the chip in rather than soldering it

so i have an aggresive chip for sale if interested :D

I dont need an aggressive chip, I can drive aggresively without it :D

surely if it has been socketed it is already runining a after market chip

Nope, that's just how 99% of aftermarket chips are fitted ;) You desolder the original chip, then solder in a socket as it's much easier to solder a socket in than it is to solder a chip in (there's nothing to damage with too much heat in a socket)

 

Piggyback ECU's are something different altogether ;)
