Hello people, this is a warning about ZXdriver.com.
First it is solely based on FACT, and I have all the documented proof to back anything up.
I placed an order for their Tail Light Conversion lenses, on 15th October 2004. On the notice panel I requested them to contact me with the postage details, ie, date of posting. This order was placed via their web site, and paid via PayPal.
I received no reply.
On 31st October 2004, I sent them an e-mail requesting them to contact me ASAP to confirm the details of the order.
I received no reply.
On 3rd November 2004 I sent another e-mail requesting them to e-mail me regarding this order by 6th Nov, otherwise I would cancel the order, and report the matter to PayPal (being within PayPal’s 30 day complaint period).
I received no reply.
On 8th November 2004, I started the complaint procedure with PayPal.
All of a sudden on 12th November 2004, I received a response from ZXdriver!!!!! Nothing about the complaint, just the order. As follows,
“i just checked our paypal account and noticed your order. for some reason we are not receiving our emails sent to payment@zxdriver.com
I will ship your item asap.
sorry for this delay.”
To which I responded,
“I am assuming you are responding because PayPal have contacted you, regarding my complaint of no information or product arriving, and no response to my e-mails to you?
But the thing is, the order was placed from your web site directly(15th Oct), so what happened to the original order? As I only sent the two e-mails to payment@zxdriver.com AFTER I received no response to my original order.
I am awaiting you delivery, and a satisfactory conclusion, before I withdraw my complaint with PayPal. This is simply to protect my legal rights under their terms and conditions, as a delivery will now be outside the 30 day cut-off period for complaints. I'm sure you understand.

“Actually I only noticed your order, and the complaint during a routine monthly review of our paypal account, where i found many more orders which we were not informed of. Orders from our website are suposed to be forwarded to us via paypal to payment@zxdriver.com, therefore we were not informed of your initial order as well. United States Postal Service does not provide tracking number for international shipments, unless they are sent with high-priority service which costs around $40-$50.
How would you like to proceed?

I requested them to continue with the order, and to post asap.
“I will have it sent asap, (next shipments on Monday) But since this is an international post, please cancel the complaint. We can not ship Internationally if there is a complaint because the Tracking is difficult.

What??? Is this for real??
Obviously I was not going to cancel the complaint, because if anything else went wrong, I couldn’t restart to complaint procedure.
So I contacted PayPal and asked their advise, they suggested that I cancel the order, and then start a fresh order.
“I have just phoned PayPal regarding the complaint on this order, and informed them regarding your last e-mail to me.
They have advised me, for buyer protection reasons, to cancel the order, and then place a fresh order. Upon this I will withdraw the complaint, and, obviously, no further action will be taken, also your record will remain un-blemished.
I'll then place a fresh order, and everyone will be happy.
It is a shame that the process failed on this occasion, as, like I said earlier, I have heard good reports about the Clear rear Lenses.
So to clarify, I am cancelling my order, Transaction # XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I hope all of this is OK with yourselves, and you fully understand my position, as I would yours under the same circumstances.

That was the last I heard from ZX driver!!!
PayPal have completed their investigation, and have said that ZXdriver were at fault, but have only recovered less than half of what I have paid to them. Having contacted PayPal tonight, they will try to recover the rest.
To conclude, I post this as a warning to all Z32 owners of what has happened to myself, and I have heard others tell of the lack of contact from ZXdriver, but can not confirm this.
