Help & FAO Scottywil

Hi mate

I spent an hour after work ravaging my headlamp panel this evening :( Couldn't get the bonnet open though, I need more time and light. The cable is moving the catch but the bonnet isnt releasing

I will send you your rad hose back and sort the hard pipe out after I'm back a week on the 30th, as I'm off first thing tomorrow.

Fooking hands are stinging like like big stingythings :( Note to self, wear gloves next time you attack fibreglass.

Any ideas on opening the bonnet would be appreciated from anyone :) The bonnet is a nice vented one so I dont want to damage it. Reaching the catch is made all the more difficult by the SS headlamp panel

Can the bonnet catch assembly be unbolted from through the headlamp panel hole?

Cheers

Pete
