Literally 10 mins ago i received a phone call on my mobile which went something like this,

"Hi Smithy" "Yeah it's me who's that" "you ****ing twat,your a dickhead am gonna ****ing have you, am gonna ****ing crush you and you'll be a ****ing dead man, so watch your back" Then hung up.

 

Now whilst this person obviously felt brave enough to say these things, he clearly wasn't that brave as to say who he was or more importantly WHY.

Havn't the faintest idea who or why this happened clearly i've upset someone.

I wouldn't like to think this is in anyway connected with someone from the forum as obviously over the years as things do, i've fell out with one or two, thankfully i've more mates than enemies though :)

But seriously what a gutless way to go about things, which is clearly one sided.

So when am dead and buried which could be sooner rather than later now, just remember where you heard it first :rolleyes:

Paul I would not worry to much the people that usually do that sort of thing usually got bullied at school and or have sexual problems and need to vent frustration thats the problem with both web and phones , it turns the nerdiest little plonkers into wannabe hardmen

Sorry to hear this Paul. Bloke must be a complete retard who can't hold a normal conversation. Why couldn't he just state what his problem was, no point offering sensless threats.

What a waste of skin that guy is. Kind of been through this myself mate and it's not pleasant. At the beginning of the year Lucie kept getting threatening and abusive text messages from some guy who didn't make himself known and it was understandably really upsetting her. I rang the number, the gutless wonder cut to answer phone and I left a message telling him in no uncertain terms that if he called again I'd find him and break his legs. He didn't text again. Totally out of character for me but I just saw red. And I'm such a nice guy normally, honest officer. :)

Paul Ive had similar, what really annoys you is the fact you may never be able to give the sods a good hiding, but get comfort in the fact that for sure the same thing will happen to them one day, and if there on the forum I hope after reading these comments they ring up and confess that they are tossers.

yuh even if you didn't get the number your mobile operator will have it, they won't give it to you but they will give it to the police,

 

using the phone in such a manner is a criminal offence.

report it to the police and your opperator. they wonlt tell you who it was but they will be aboe to trace the call themselves.

The place where the call was made from has been made known to me by the police and is down Essex way. Just incase there is a connection with this company or it's staff and this forum,( which is a possibility, as i don't have any connections with the company it self) i'll just hang on until investigations are finalised and if there is a connection i'll speak with the commitee first. After all it was clearly a one sided conversation that turned into a threat of life and as it played over the speakers in my car (hands free kit), my daughter was none to impressed that someone was out to kill her dad :mad:
