I have been pondering recently whether to become a full time trader or not. Obviously I would still be doing my 9-5 but do other Z related things for this and other Z forums. Obviously the general idea is to look after Z owners and offer a good service.

 

As most of you know, I offer the headlight chroming service, which at the moment seems to be on the way up now that I have a consistant supplier. However, my original intention was to just do the headlight chroming for the few people that wanted on the forum and leave it at that. However, it looks like there will be a lot more demand for it and so I will probably be doing it for a good while.

 

In addition, after checking with the bling traders on here and got the ok, I have also been dabling in the chroming of balance bars, bonnet stays, and if the result is positive from this thread, I will also be looking to go in to chroming radiator brackets, coilpack brackets and possibly a couple of other small parts that non of you other traders and dealing in.

 

However, what I am looking to do, and this will probably tip the balance as to whether I do go full time of not, is whether any of you would be interested in chromed plenums. I will still need to check if my supplier would be interested in doing them but I'm 75% sure he would. If all the answers are yes to this, I would only do this on a groupbuy basis(3-5 only), with a £50 deposit. I'm looking at an initial price of around £150-£200 to your door. This will need to be confirmed. However, I would firstly want to know if any traders would be against this groupbuy because I would not want to start creating bad blood on this forum.

Go for it! The more bits available the better. I voted for the chrome plenum, but it wont be for a while.... :)

Can't see the problem myself. As you said it would be ashame to start somthing without the agreement of other traders. Competition is always good for the buyer and they say variety is the spice of life. Atleast you have the consideration to ask others instead of pushing your way in ;) Have my vote buddy ;)
