A few of you have said before that if you do a full decat you run the risk of the oil seals on the turbs coming loose and leaking and as mine have done 120k reckon theres a fair chance the decat will finish them off!

 

Sooo....anyone know how much a pair of stock turbs cost...and would this solve the prob...or would the seals go on the new ones as well...do you need to drop diff tubs in if you do a decat??

If your talking about brand new standard tubs your better speaking to smithy as he does some stage 1 or 2 ones which arnt much more than standard turbos and have much stronger seals on them.

I've heard you can change the config so dump a small turb in and a large one and have them kick in at diff stages....is this worth doing you think...or stick with standard turbs?
