Of course, speeding in itself is not a bad thing, its the circumstances around it that make it unacceptable, you live in a nice road 30 limit, I drive by at 30, no one complains, I drive by at 40 + and you get a bit upset, I nick your video after breaking into your house and drive off (yes....burglars drive too!) at 40...you get the raving hump, before I drive off I have a few shots from youe finest malt (and I smashed the shite out of your window to get in) (oh, and I stole your Z to get away in) (touch a nerve yet?) The Traffic police down the road doing a 'Trap' (hows that if they all wear flourescent coats?) dont bother stopping me...WHAT ARE THE POLICE DOING ABOUT IT?...

YAWN...........how many speeders are escaping burglars? There is NO justification of the way motorists are persecuted. End of. Concentrate on harder to catch "criminals" and cut us some fookin slack. I don't mean to be hostile towards you but the resources used to catch those "dangerous speeders" is simply ridiculous. The way government reports are twisted and worded to justify it makes me sick.

ok then, why bother to stop a car travelling at 40mph in a 60 at night when doing nothing wrong? :bow: this happened to me recently. the speedlimit is a limit doesn't mean i have to do it especially when there are woods alongside the road where lots of deers come out. oh and i was tailed for 3.5 miles before being pulled!

from what ive seen in the last few years

the ONLY way your gonna catch any scummy smackheads robbing houses

is via a speed trap, not entirely your fault due to cutbacks, but sorry, i want to see plod walking round estates, not letting them get to be no go areas

and only going on them to chase the local dickheads :mad:

and i said speeing in a village or town wasnt acceptable, it on open straight roads with no traffic that i think is ok. i have never ever sped in a 30 mph zone. i have always owned fast cars and at 30 have never had a single point on my licence.

Police dont prosecute, Crown prosecution service do...nothing we can do about that..they are nothing to do with police and not accountable as run by government..enough said.

yawn...how do you know if you dont stop em...most are not most get off with a warning (from me anyway) yawn heard it so many times, hey, lets just replace the police with cameras....we could all slow down for them and get away with everything.

Why not, if your car was nicked off your drive at 2 am and was driving along a routine stop would probably get it back for you, not all car thieves stop but a lot of em stop and give up. (dont believe all you see on tv)

So do I mate, wasnt always a traffic cop, caught loads of people walking around at night, Why am I not on it now...because I investigate the cause and deal with crashes

how many theives nick a 300 bhp motor and them pull over when a cop flashes them

Why not, if your car was nicked off your drive at 2 am and was driving along a routine stop would probably get it back for you, not all car thieves stop but a lot of em stop and give up. (dont believe all you see on tv)

If you all know who did it then give a statement to the police (stand up and be counted) they will arrest em, charge them and the crown prosecution service will discontinue the case and leave you open to harrassment from the scumbags who did it (or buy a baraclava and get an alibi?)

LOL! Guys traffic cop is just doing his job. I do PMSL when we as human beings are quite happy to string up anyone else for doing a crime but when WE do it (and yes speeding is a crime) (even in a gay supra) (but it happens more often cos you go faster) (and it doesnt break down all the time) we all moan like Macca bed springs.

Problem was mate we were doing a good deed we had called the police as these yobs were setting fire to a bed in a cornfield opposite our house, well we saw them do it mydad pointed them out to the cops 5 days latera concrete paving slab though windcreen causing quite a bit of damage, called police that night it happened and they said can't do anything.

 

Ironic thing is that these yobs have said that they are going to keep doing my car unless i do something about it, well i have and they don't want to Fooking know!

to be honest i would not say the zx isnt a hard car to drive. i have done 3 course in single seater race cars and several skid pan day but that was so i could tech mysel how to drive a rwd car safley
