Hi guys Im hoping somone out there can heklp me as Im at my wits end trying to work out what is wrong with my Z ill try give accurate as poss information.

Ok the car was working fine till I bought stuff to do a conversion form auto to manaual and add turbos on it. I bought all the stuff and sent the ecu i had fof to america to be reprogrammed to work with the mods. Howerver a company i bought lots of performance parts form went bust and i lost just under 2500.00 so i though bugger it im not doing any mods to my convertable z. However as time went on i decided i still wanted to drive the car , so i purchased another ecu form another company in uk (breakers) now it worked fine on initial inspection so i decided to get the car modded, and did so by getting the ecu chipped. However this seems to be where the problem has started . When i started the car the revs were up and down when at idle and when i hit the gass to pull of the car would almost cut out then gve a burtst of energy , (kinda misfiring while doin g it) when i boot the car it seems ok , bar the initial taking off. However if I take it easy the car runs lumpy e its jittery and bloody annoying . Now the guy who did the chip is real helpfull and cant fault him , i put optimax fuel in etc new plugs , new hks induction system and the bloody thing still does it, is there anyone out there that may have an idea or is it possible that somthing has gone wrong with the chipping of the car ? Forgot to say its a 300zx NA Auto Convertable.

if i were you, first job is o eliminate the chip, get a stock one for starters , John Dixon on this forum may be able to help you, then take it from there, 1 step at a time.

This chip has been tried and tested many times before. I know for a fact that the chip runs sweet on a NA. Darren give me a call tomorrow once you have given the car a decent run :)

maybe a corroded TPS connector, take it off give it a good clean, reset the ecu

What the heck is a tps conector, ps ive disconected battery to reset ecu/

cheers greddy , was going to give yah a call anyways ) just trying to see if it were somthing stupid that I can sort ymself and I gave it a good 2 hr blast yesterday.anyways talk to you later gonna go out now and start her up after reseting ecu tosee if any joy.
