Anyone here play Eve online.

 

I just started a 14 day free trial (with free downloadof the game itself) as friends at work were raving about it.

Fooking superb real time game. :hyper:

 

Bit of a :confused: to start with but once you get into it's pretty amazing :bow:.

played eve from beta i wish id never seen it.......taken over my life was distraught when i lost my first ship lol.......contact me ingame my name is Oosel....you will need to send me an eve-mail as i have turned off my invite to chat as the pvp'ers use it to spam you and stop you targeting them in battle. in 14 days you cant get a true feel of the game and also shiva will give you tons more things to do

ive just had a quick hunt round the web for this, from what i can gather it sounds a bit like the Elite game of old , is it? is it worth getting? whats the mimimum pc spec as mines shit!!!

You download for free, get 14 days free trial and if you want to carry on playing after than then it's £8 a month.

Elite 4 should be out in 2 years and is set to blow the previous ones out of the water. Online mulitplayer and set to have a full galaxys worth of star ports.

I heard of this, I been meaning to have a look for a while, although for the past couple of years i've been into playing planetside, Unreal torney and now Star Wars Galxies, although thats getting borring now.

 

I played that X2 the threat, total elite style game but crap as its not online and not even multiplayer, if it was it would have been fantastic.

 

Dont like to play pc games too much now though, they swallow too much useful time in RL.

Ahh fook it took the plunge lol, screenies looked good so gonna try it, no harm if its free, gonna take about an hour to dl.

Cool will do matey, looks a bit special, I loved elite on the amiga it truely was awesome at the time. Funny thing was I played it on an emulator not too long ago and somehow I was disapointed, someone took away those class graphics, wire 3d and sound and replaced it with awful colours and low bitrate sound lol.

 

I hate it when that happens.

Guys when you get a better frigate, a few railgun's and a shield booster let me know as I'm currently pirate killing with a few friends, the money to be made from this is unreal, not just the kills but the cargo we steal lol !

r u in need of some named small rail guns or electron blasters thats one of my sidelines can provide some very tasty carbide rails or even better proto gauss guns............its had some lag probs the last few days but it sometimes does when you get around the 9k player mark at weekends
