Removal advice

Can any of the systems be removed for more power and still have the car run OK?

EGR valve for instance?

Front cover of engine (I have 2 brand spanking new variable timing cams under there all shiney) Would have to reposition PTU but that a good tihng anyway. But is there anything else?

anything else?

many people remove EGR as it can cause problems if it goes wrong. however, im not convinced as it helps reduce combustion temps at part loads, & may help prevent det in certain areas. also i dont think anyone has ever actually experienced problems with their EGR any way.

i would also *NEVER* leave a timing cover off. if a stone flicked up off the road it would be disaterous!! (& yes, i have seen it happen!)
