We can't try to defend for 75 minutes and expect to win. We tried it against France and lost and we tried it again tonight and lost. Once they got 2-1 ahead, we showed how we could play if we wanted and if we had a manager with a bit of spirit! :rolleyes:

It's such a crap unfair way to go out of a tournament by Penalties, but if we had won on penalties and gone on all the way to win the tournament we wouldn't have even given the penalties game a 2nd thought. Oh well that's just the way the Cookie crumbles I suppose. Stroll on the World Cup in 2yrs I reckon we will have an even stronger team by then..So who knows we could even go on to win it ????
