my new truck has landed in the country and just passed its MOT, however the place that is sorting it all out offers waxoil for 45 quid. is it worth getting it done? considering i aint seen the car yet, would it be wise to see it first then get it done when i get it home as it could hide a multitude of sins.

whaddya reckon?

Yes mate it is good stuff and worth doing, and dare I say even on a Toyota too;)

is it the rustproofing or underbody seal?

if it's the rustproofing then it's deffo worth having it done, as its a messy horrible job, and a clear liquid so can't hide anything, and £45 is a bargain

i do my jag every year and the waxoyl itself costs half that

i THINK you can also get the seal in clear as well, so if your worried ask them to do it in clear;)

What you getting?

mate at St Helens is having some monster US iron and the RHD conversion because it still gets inside the company car rules for a pick up truck with the big cab. Is it the big Dodge? 5.7 L V8 Just realised the pun - big tax dodge - until our wonderful chancellor closes the loophole in a couple of years.
