Performance Increase From Stage 3

Hi all

Im new on here. Still waiting to get a nice imported 300zx from our little friends in Japan. I've had a 94 Supra TT before now and really enjoyed it, but had to sell in order to get a house. Gutted. But now i'm on market for a nice 300zx TT. I'm just wondering what kind of performance increase you can get from Stage 3? Torque increase, 0-60 time etc. I'm lookin for an auto as i dont wanna be replacing clutches and i'm after gettin 0-60 times around the same as the Supra. 5 secs should do me. Will the stage 3 be surficient for this? Cheers

well theres so many different opinions on "stages" but mine has:

induction, exhaust, chip, 16psi, lightweight F/W, underdrive pulley. also uprated clutch & traction control.

0-60 timed on a G-Tech pro at 4.7secs

if you go auto its gonna cost you as you'll prob be needing a fast road rebuild. also uprated cooler

I thought auto's were good for around 500bhp in standard form. Thats why i decided to go for one. Is yours an Auto or manual and have you any idea how many horses its pulling?

No standard manuals are good for 600bhp or so but the stock clutch is only good for around 330bhp.

Stock clutch will need replacing if you start modding - but you'll have to do that ONCE.

Stock auto box will have a lot of problems with an uprated engine and you'll need to at least make sure you have oil cooling sorted out.

Either way you'll have to do something to the drivetrain... so really it comes down to which layout you prefer.
