Ryan, Anyone- you get a free thrash in my zed. I need the verdict on whether I got a pile of poo for a zed and of course advice on what bits to spend my hard earned cash on first. If you can bring your conzult too, I'll buy ya a drink. Have been diagnosed with faulty egr valve. Need to know if this is really the case as it sounds an awkward job to replace.

Just got my car back. Was told that all the gears were working fine except second, synchro gone. They lied, it's like moving a big stick in hard mud changing gear. Also buggered up boosting the car to 1bar, it's now at .5bar!!!!! Anyone got a match??

I feel for you mate :( - I just been through it all as well- expense after expense and then off road for 5 weeks- hire cars, scrounging cars, hell- I even thought about ramming it through the guys house whom I bought it from. She's running semi ok at the moment, but I know stuffs waiting to go wrong- just cant afford the preventative maintenance.

im lucky cos I brought a second car, kind of had to, so it's no problem not having the Zed, it's just the frustration with the money. For what I've spent I would have a very nice deposit on a 350Z. Oh well. Can't take it with you when you die. Its bookd in to 3D next Friday and they'll need it for about a week. I might still go to the Oxford met in my other car, I'ts Italian but can hold it's own.

Knock round for me on the way up if ya like- Havnt heard from jonny yet- will ave to gee him up

My mate that's stupidly brought a tt Supra will be coming along as well. My car definately won't be fixed as t's going for s recon gear box this Friday. But I shall be there one way or another. Lets hope it's sunny so we can get some tops off!!!!

sorry for butting in, but seeing as a couple of you are local and local-ish to Oxfordshire. Why dont you , ever so often take a peek at my forum and see if there is weekend etc when we both got something going on where we can get together as 1 pub meet or get together after our individual ones.

What time will you meet be ending?

My club have a meet on the same day, and were going to have a drive after a couple of hours at a pub, was thinking of popping down to see you guys if you dont mind????

 

But will not be leaving peartree area (oxford) till around 2 or 2:30. Would you still be at the plough at around 3?

 

If not, we will just go for a drive somewhere else
