Just watched Sundays Top Gear. So now I'm thinking it's apparently not illegal to hold and use a (hand-held) two-way radio whilst driving! And there was me advising people they should clip a radio to themselves (or somewhere) before hitting the button to talk (to stay within the law). I think that's just fickin hilarious having read the cr@p bumpf that came from my phone provider about it being: against the law to hold a mobile phone whilst driving, whether that be to answer it or whatever. I mean, FFS!.. a two-way radio obviously isn't a phone but it's most certainly a "thing" that you can hold in one hand and talk into. Is it illegal to masturbate whilst driving?! (cock in hand: Who's ya fackin daddy?!!!) Not that I'm a big fan of mobile masturbation, but what the f*ck ARE you now allowed to do?! Can I still eat a McDs breakfast on the way to somewhere?! Or do I have to eat it off my passenger seat with both hands on the steering wheel?!

English law - you gotta love it ;)

In the last few years, many forums and such like have screamed about 'something should be done' about variously, Mobys'... we all got fvck-wit laws, then it was tints... so we got another fvck-wit law, the same happened with all the outrage at 'uninsured drivers' the result we paid thru increased premiums for a computer system [that doesn't work] for the filf to check up on us, the insurance went thru the roof causing more un-insured drivers, which means that thanks to all the whinging fvckers the 'safety-net' system that did cover the 'un-insured' and made even a slight profit now runs at a loss costing us more... WHEN THE FVCK IS EVERYONE GONNA STOP WHINGING ABOUT OTHER DRIVERS AND RALLY BEHIND THE FACT THAT WE ARE ALL BEING ROYALLY ROGERED UP THE AHSE!

I bet if you go back thru this forum you could find a few... antimobile phone threads from years back and insurance ones too... ''To have your prayers answered is not always the answer to your prayers''...

Nice rant Iain. :)

Thank you... :D

What if you're wearing sunglasses AND have tinted windows??? :)

There is a limit to the darkness of sunglasses you wear whilst driving. That is C.E. category 3. cat 4 is too dark. This is to do with the fact that you may enter tunnels etc with your sunglasses on and they can't be too dark. Similar stupidity is the law on tinted visors really for all you bikers.....

Old people.. now they need more light to see at the same clarity... but the law doesnt say they need to wear lighter sunglasses. Hmmmm. There are LOTS of stupid rules. I vote that 300zx club from this point on makes all new legislation wrt driving.

Poll. Poll. Poll. Poll. (chanted)

No point to this post really.

Sorry.

What if you're wearing sunglasses AND have tinted windows??? :)
In my experience, it's not a problem in the sunshine. Admittedly it all goes a bit tits up when it gets dark, but then you just take your sunglasses off and wind the windows down if you need to. :D

In fact, I got pulled over for speeding one night about 4 years ago now. They made me reverse back into the unlit side road they'd hidden their car down. They didn't seem too bothered when I had to wind my window down and stick my head out of the window to see where I was going!
