Just how stupid do you have to be to not work out that you can't start an auto when it's not in park?

thats nothing - how stupid do you have to be to muck around with the auto box on an astra while you are going along a motorway - and accidently get it into park at 80 mph - the bugger of the thing is it wont come out of park unless you've got your foot on the break :slap:

 

not sure i should have confessed that :rofl:

But did you then proceed to dismantle your steering column, check every fuse in the car and make your missus drive all the way to Reading with a spare ignition barrel before you realised it was just in Drive?

Actually , should count myself lucky as I let the car cool down for a few minutes as you do , with the handbrake on in drive , good job the handbrake did not fail as it would have taken out a very nice 200 :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
