Looks like I am gona try one

THIS IS THE LAST CLUTCH YOU WILL EVER BUY FOR A Z!

This clutch will hold at least 1000 HP! You can slip this clutch against your e-brake and make boost sitting still to launch just like an automatic torque converter!

It has a fairly stock pedal feel with stock like engagement. It is as smooth as butter!

It can also be completely rebuilt.

£54k?

You could have got a 2nd hand Diablo, or a NEW Noble M12 GTO which does 0-60 faster than any Lambo or Porsche. I think standard its 4.3.

Why would I want to do that? I don't like either :nono:

MAC with a manual :D I see he's finally come to his senses

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

1. Manual - one more of us - one less of THEM! Well done Macca!

2. 54k and how long has it been in bits off road having work done

3. How many horses when it's finished - probably immaterial - sorry to be another sceptic, but how can you be sure that you've thought of every component and upgraded it sufficiently to take the (unknown level of) strain?

4. Is he mad?

5. Barking!!!!!!

MAC is getting a manwell, you have seen the light, welcome to the cult of manwell.

Can I get an amen brother! :D

Better get down the gym and train up that wasted left leg mate :D

1 Not through my choice:(

2 5 months on this project, before this not much at all.

3 I have no idea,I don't think anyone has taken Z tuning to this level in the UK,I can't be sure that every component will take the unknown level of strain.

4 You bet

5 I don't do dogs. (but I know a man that does)

I must admit, I think Nigel has to be the most opinionated person on this board. Quite a few times I have read his replies and though, 'oh dear.....'....

I dont think Macca's MAD, well I dont really know him at all to be honest, but he;s doing what I would do if I could afford it though.

Kinda feel sorry for ya Macca though as cus your at the top end of the tuning level for the 300zx, there's not gonna be many people on here that can help you with most of your queries!! You could try Nana at Option, or his chief Spanner Monkey 'Myer'. He looks after a 600bhp multicoloured, wild-bodykitted, ridiculously sized rear tyred zed. Put mine to shame when I was next to it!!! :(

Come on Mac Nigel Rocks :mac1: Well at least he keeps people on there toes and should be applauded for that.

I have to confess having supported the auto for a long time. "Come closer, sshh I don't want every one to hear. Close, no closer. Well, I'm erm going manwell myself" Look I'm sorry, but I was alone in Madrid and manwell just came to me and I said, " I know what i'm doing on auto is wrong, but manwell you feel so good"

So you're out of the "fastest 300zx.co.uk auto" contest then Macca ;) Who's left? Shrimp, Baggins... and, um... me?

I agree Mark, he does keep you on your toes, but you human instincts make you wanna....:mac1:

What you mean that some of you guys take all of this SERIOUSLY!!!??? :xxx:

It's all just light hearted banter.

and I think the only things I say that might cause offence are on the subject of OTT bodywork and complete RICE mongering.

Of course I prefer manual gearboxes and black zeds, but that's because I have exceptionally good taste!

Tony C........... what have you done to me???????

Especially now I've looked at that six-speed sequential... if there's one thing I don't like about the Z's gearbox it's the gate the size of Wales.
