I'm pleased to announce that Megaboost, in association with Straightliners have found a replacement venue for the failed Xscape meet (not sure if anyone told you chaps about that one?)

 

The new location is Elvington Airfield near York (details in post below) and as well as the intended static meet I'm pleased to say that we'll now have some racing too!

Please put the 16th of May in your diary and start spreading the word - my aim with this is to get a northern version of Bolney, Ace Cafe etc but with the addition of some racing, it's about time something happened up here and I need as much support as possible to make it work. Hopefully this will be the start of something regular and I'm happy to let things evolve into whatever people want :)

 

Hope to see as many 300zx's there as possible - if you are members of any other forums please pass the details on - initially I'm aiming this at Japanese car owners but eventually I'm hoping to include any performance cars, I just don't want it to be a Burberry-clad burnout fest ;)

Just a quick reminder in case people are interested but too scared to put their names on this thread :)

 

This event is on Sunday, racing starts between 10am and 10.30am - it will finish somewhere around 5pm. If you want to race don't forget to bring a helmet.

 

Spectators are more than welcome, there should be a big turnout as I've had lots of interest from most of the other forums.
