Hi Steve

 

You are welcome to come to our meetings and hold a shootout for your car group. Its no extra charge. The best dates would be July 25th or September 26th. Hope to see you one of those dates. We cannot give a guarantee on the minimum number of runs, this totally depends on the turnout of racers. However, most racers if they get here early and stay later in the day get a decent number of runs in, averaging around 8 - 10, this could be less as I said if it is a particularly busy day, but no less than 5 if you are lined up ready when your group is called up.

I would imagine the 25th July would be out in most peoples books, as it's the same weekend as JAE. I have emailled back asking for prices, camping availability, whether we would get an actual "shootout" at the end of the day and if we would get a dedicated class for ourselves.

 

I'll let you know when I hear some more. I've not heard anything from Santa Pod yet.

 

As a side issue for club commitee members, would each of the clubs be willing to stump up some cash and buy some prises for the event if it happens? Maybe an overall fastest trophy and some bubbly?

Nigel if youre on again can you get in contact with me regarding your turbo timer please and whether you had an alarm installed with it? Im trying to find out some info on getting the two hooked up together and not getting much response!
