Well a fair amount of money later the Z is finally back in my drive. :D
Scarey drive home though - all the gauges kept working, the indicator canceled correctly and the auto box changed up and down at more or less the right time. The new brake pads didn't squeel and new shocks seemed to keep the tramping down on roundabout exits. I even dusted off a few GTi's that got a bit close to the tail. :nono:
What is going wrong, a drive (abeit a short half hour) with nothing failing, breaking off - is this a sign of things to come? :hyper:
Having said that the garage had managed to lose the face off panel for my new CD player. And my RoadAngel doesn't like the Jap cigerette lighter feed (a clean is required I think).
