I am trying to see what my car would look like in different colours. How do I use photoshop to replace a colour with another one?

well mate ... If you wan't to be a complete chancer you could try selecting the approprite area then fill them with your chosen colour ... doubt if you would have much success with this method though

Best way would be to do the following:

Open the ol image

Menu > Image > adjust > replace colour

select the image radio button

select the + droppper tool

select the Hue, and other attributes you want from the sliding scale

Click on areas of the car and the car will change to the appropriate hue settings you selected

NOTE

Probably better to isolate the car from the rest of the image as any duplicated colours will change in the images as a whole .. not just the car but you get the idea.

Just thought I would say that the above is a quick and easy method. There are more involved ways and more time consuming ways ..

Thought you would wan't the easiest mate ...

cheers
