Should've been picking up the Z today..........but not ready. And the bodyshop closes down today until 5th Jan.

 

Happy Xmas to me........... not.

Feel really sorry for you mate! On the bright side..... it might snow soon, so you wouldn't want to drive it in that. Also, it's Christmas, get someone else to drive while you concentrate on getting PISSED!!:D :D :D

 

I noticed in the picture, they have written "Low on fuel" on the side window. Bit of a redundant comment for a Z!! LOL!:D :rolleyes:

The guy in charge has said he has had staff off sick etc, etc. A poor excuse. I've used him before a couple of times and he has always been spot on.

 

LOL..............yeah my Z is always "low on fuel".

 

Chose some wheels..........eventually! That was a laugh! They weren't my first choice but I am pleased with them.

James I know you don't like critism but I do have to say, I know you couldn't afford all 4 wheels at once but I really do think you should have got the rear's first and then when your bonus comes in Feb then get the fronts.

 

The Z can get away with having bigger wheels at the rear but at the front it just looks a little strange, sorry mate I know it's hard to take in and all that but I'mn sure you'll see the light :(.

The wheels are 18" OZ Canyons.

Well it looks finished to me :D:D I see they've made a reference to the manual gearbox too, nice touch :cool:

Hey James,

Where did you get those really neat mudflaps??? The Jap ones on ours, although moulded are bloody huge and look really cack!!

 

If you want to sell them because of side skirts etc, I'll buy 'em off ya!!

As someone's already mentioned......at least if it snows over Xmas you won't have the "fun" of driving the Zed.

 

It'll be worth the wait though. Oh, and those wheels look superb. A very, very nice looking Zed.

 

One thing....don't want to make you paranoid, but I'd check the paintshop's security/insurance procedures over the holidays. I'd want to know my Zed was in a safe place. Not sure that your insurance would cover any loses whilst it's in the 'shop.....so make sure the company has good cover of their own.

Paul, thanks for the kind words about the Z.

 

It did come up about the safety of it being in his 'shop and its cool -but thanks for that, esp as my insurance has actually run out since its been in. All sorted now though.

Sorry to hear you didnt get it back bud, wheels look nice tho :)

Quick question about the wheels, I thought OZ Canyons were only available in 8"? :confused: I know the Canyon II's come in much bigger sizes because I was looking at getting some myself.
