Hi All,

Received a message from Claire the events co-ordinator of the GTROC about joint Dyno Day!!

Here is the message!

Hi Mark,

Hope you're well? I would like to start thinking about a possible Dyno Day between your club and ours. The GTR's v's 300zx - what do you think and get a publication involved too!

I have some suggested dyno places the easiest one is G-Force, based in Aylesbury (not to far) and they work better with 4 wheel. Im organising another dyno for 2 wheel as well, basically that will be for the likes of the GTS-T's and non turbos.

Let me know what you think and I will contact G-Force and book a date. I think the max is upto 30 cars and min is 12. So we could have 15 cars from each club!?!

Just to let you know incase you were not aware there are two other Dyno companies called THOR Racing - Midlands/North and CPL Racing - Kent, who have mobile dyno's, this might interest your representatives around the UK.

Drop me an email on reallywild89@hotmail or PM me via this site.

Talk soon

Claire

Sounds good to me.

But what values are they going to take? Estimated flywheel numbers or actual wheel? Stock Skylines will only have about 200bhp at the wheels.

There was talk of two dyno days!

One for four and one for two wheel drive vehicles, I think the two wheel drive ones would be a fairer comparison!

Just talked to Andy Barnes (sumo power) and he says the only BHP that counts is the stuff you can apply to tarmac!

I have to agree:D

I agree too, but every one who went to SE RR quoted their "estimated" flywheel values.

Well they're bigger, so everyone will always prefer flywheel figures ;)

There's loads of big powered Skylines around, I dont rate our chances on a leaderboard...

I think that Claire the events organiser relises this and that is why she suggested a GTS and 300ZX dyno day!

There are some guys who have spent 100K on their skyline, so I think it is fair to assume they might just get the edge:D
