Driving to work this morning in a very calm normal way and all of a sudden bellowing plooms of smoke start pouring from under the bonnet! On closer inspection it seems there is a massive oil leek from the drivers-side turbo:( :( I'm off to the local mechanic to see what it is, but i fear a substansial bulk of cash will soon be departing my company:cry: If that's the case then serious considerations are gonna have to be made as to wether i keep it.....The Zed is definately not my friend at the momment!

Wish me luck people....I'm Bloody well gonna need it!:(

The mechanic can't look at the car until tomorrow, so I'm still really worried! BUT I've been doing some searching on this forum, tech articles and basically anything i can find on the web and although I can't find anything which matches my problem I'm hoping and praying that it's maybe an oil line for the turbo:confused: .The reason I think this is the fact it happened all of a sudden, ticking over at the lights then smoke from under the bonnet NOT from the exhaust and oil pressure loss.

If anyone has any idea what it might be please let me know!!

BTW I've calmed down since yesterday and as long as I don't end up paying £1000+ on repairs......(quick prayer:( ) then the Zed is staying! After all what else would you wanna drive after having one of these beasties!!:D

sounds like the oil feed line has come off/loose, a problem with the turbo internals would produe exhaust smoke not smoke from under the bonnet.
