John Doe stared through the dirty soot-smeared window on the 26th floor of the office tower. Overcome with depression he slid the window open and jumped through it. It was a sheer drop outside the building to the ground. Miraculously after he landed he was completely unhurt. Since there was nothing to cushion his fall or slow his descent, how could he have survived?

or....

It was an internal window, i.e. a window within the building not attached to an external wall.

the 25 floors below were very small

BUUUUUUUUUUUNNNGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!:D

I saw a woman jump from a 25th storey window on a film called "Faces of Death"........................not nice:(

Rich is right but maybe BR was lying:

1 it was the first floor window.

2 he died.

Soot smeared? 25th floor? hmm, sounds unlikely to me.

He'd have to do the program voice over AFTER the croc had shat him out!

Although there were some very harrowing and sad cases on those vids, some of them were hilarious!

Rich was right (easy one:p ), I'm just waiting for Mr Shrimp to come up with another answer!:D
