I didn't know who I was looking for and I didn't want to sound rude looking for someone to blag something off! Sorry. I was a meet virgin so was trying to just see what was going on!

 

I was going to ask your advice on aplication etc, well- maybe I could pop down some time, it's not that far.

 

It's these usernames people have, I'm OK as I (boringly) chose me REAL name (shock!!). I don't know if I could have brought myself to say, hi, anyone here called tinkywinky?.....

No problems bud, was my first meet too. Know what you mean about user names though can be very confusing. Mine was chosen by my 4 year old son, hence a bloody teletubbie !

Still saves me putting in loads of user names until I find one that hasn't been used ;)

 

Which was yours, the short wheel base n/a ?

I have been killing myself over this. I like that car. I like the milage, and I like the state it's in, but I want a turbo. I am going to have to keep looking possibly even sell that one on and go for a turbo. The trouble is, I just can't see myself finding one in that condition again.

 

There were some nice ones there today. Which was yours? I did get a buzz when I went off and there were three of us in our mini-convoy down to the M42.

 

Still trying to gather more information on the best way to go about getting a turbo...don't think I could last if I sold and had to look for nother though.

Need to be more carefull were you put the vaseline Alex :D :D :D

Rich you could look at importing one yourself ? I know a few of the guys on here have. Do a search for previous posts on importing. Is a nice clean motor though.

 

Mine was the pearl yellow one running 1.25bar, makes me grin every time I hit the loud pedal :D :D

Not the best photography, but they do look good lined up. It's a buzz to see two old grannies in a micra come round the corner and be confronted with this, and to know your part of it. Or two lads in a type R. It might be a fast motor, but it doesn't have style like these really...
