Considering it was planned in less than 24 hours it was a good little meeting.

5 Zs arrived. AdamR, Scoops, DaveW, SRRAE (me) and Graham S made a nice late arrival.

On one hand, I'm annoyed I missed it.

 

OTOH, at the time I was lying under a tree in Eastnor Castle park in 30+ degrees C with a pint of Amstel watching John Peel looking very confused in front of several thousand people. Still can't believe one of the staff had parked their GT4 right in front of the sound stage.

 

You'll have seen my Z on the forecourt at C&S anyway - the black J-spec targa with split rims... and split water hoses! Johnny has promised faithfully I'll have it back by Monday - so see you then, unless work bundle me off somewhere at zero days' notice again. (Edinburgh yesterday, Newcastle tomorrow. Sigh.)

 

Dunno what temp it got to overheating, because the other problem requiring my attention is the death of two of the three A-pillar gauges...

a fellow big chiller - what a top weekend! john peel was crap though - all that gabba shite he always plays.

 

nightmares on wax live were probably the highlight for me, matthew herbert's big band were pretty impressive too.
