Clutch booster reservoir

I know it's common to do away with the clutch booster reservoir, but I've been driving my (manual conversion) zed a lot more recently and I can really feel when the booster doesn't have enough vacuum to operate properly. Pootling around town is fine, but when it's been boosting (ie no vacuum available) the clutch gets a lot heavier. Predictably it's most noticeable when I come off full throttle for a gear change.

I'm hardly desperate, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be much work to put the reservoir in? Anyone got one?

To be clear, are you referring the clutch booster (servo) or the vacuum tanks (plus pipework and check valve)?

The tank, ie reservoir! Thought my explanation made it clear that I'm after increased vacuum store as it's running out, but obviously not. I already have a reconditioned booster from Jim.

I'm not sure exactly what the stock set up is, just that there is an extra tank to store vacuum

This is the stock setup with the layout for RHD in the 2nd diagram. Have you checked the check valve is operating correctly?

Thanks for the info and good point about the check valve, will have a look, but was only fitted new 12 months ago.

Didn't realise there was two pieces to the tank system, any idea what they do?
