Having obtained an OEM radio cassette and CD player I now need a sub harness to go with it

This is a small separate wiring harness sometimes called a Y harness that connects the two together and then connects to the vehicle loom

A post on a USA website says you can get them from Nissan but I’ve looked everywhere for a part number and cannot find one. The Nissan dealer hasn’t got a clue without it

Has anyone got any spare I can buy?

Thanks

Matthew

What does the connector socket on the CD player look like? They vary depending on the make/model of the player, for

example a 5 pin DIN connector or an 8 pin connector.

If you PM me your VIN, I will look up the parts database for the part#. However, it may well be NLA and you will need a s/h Y harness or

make one up.

Hi

Thanks for your reply

I’m away at the moment so will post a picture of the rear connectors tomorrow. The din lead is fine, it is the power lead that is missing. At the back of the CD is a four pin power connection. 2x2 arrangement. There is also a separate fly lead with a yellow cable and single spade connector on it. The CD is by Clarion as is the radio.

I will PM vin number tomorrow as well. Photograph shows exactly the lead required. It’s going to be difficult to make one of these as the adaptor lead has a connector that is a plug one side and a socket the other
