Putting together a PC

Afternoon,

 

Been a good few years since I put a PC together but I think it's definitely time I looked at replacing it. It's basically used for normal home/office use and no gaming but looking for something that's future proofed for the next few years at least. Looking to run W7 at a good reliable pace

 

Can anyone help me with what I should be looking for or components to stay away from/not bother with.

    Get a good Intel i5, 8gbs ram, maybe a gtx700 series GPU but with no gaming it might not be necessary. One screen I take it?

    125gb sad and 1tb HDD

    I've got an advent box with i7 16 GB memory and 2 TByes fast disk It's got a good sound card and system and both SVGA and DV video to drive 2 screens

     

    You can have that for £300 + Postage if you want and then configure how you want
