Time to hit the track again I think.........................

Lots of hot hatches to play with.

Warning ...motorsport is dangerous... particularly at Three Sisters.

Its also highly addictive.

Im in provisionally for the moment. Weather dependent. Its a long drive from Nottingham to Wigan.

Three Sisters Track Attack days are not really shows in the traditional sense that many 300ZX owners know.

Its more a gathering of drivers/cars that are track/performace orientated.Small hatchbacks predominate. Normally some Caterham type kit cars and then a mix of anything else. Jap stuff, BMWs etc etc Very informal. Quite low key and normally full of friendly no nonsense northern folk. Just a fiver to get in , park up and watch the fun.

10 lap track sessions are £20 or three for £50.

Weather looking OK for tomorrow at Three Sisters.

Im aiming to get there when the track opens for racing at 10.00am.

Will be booking 3 x 10 lap sessions.

Three Sisters have introduced a "full face "only helmet rule this year. So rather than hiring one I decided I would buy one.

I have bought a cheap clearance motocross style helmet. The guys at J&S bike gear store removed the "peak" which means I dont look like a total t**t in it . But its a good job Im only wearing it inside the car!!:whistling:

On a serious note I bought it cos its lightweight, got air vents on it, no perspex visor and has great "side vision" which will help on a tight narrow track like Three Sisters.

OH! Did I mention it was cheap!!

Im sure you knew that already.

A good day again at the track. Apart from one little 360deg spin :scared:

No damage done to car as far as I can see or the driver.
