I did something to that when Quavey had it as i remember getting the dremel out for a delicate job, sure it was working when he left me.

I'll have a look through my spares but i do wonder what is wrong with yours Ash.

It's not been working for a while looking at its mot's.

Tried everything I can think of, think it's the stepper motor that's dead, but early ones are much bigger,

Can't even find anything universal I could put in there, maybe I'll piggyback an early one externally at least while I run the engine in,

I've had a look at my stock, it looks like i have 'your' old one because the tamper screws have been dremeled.

I am wondering if your problem is NOT the motor because it's had 2 fitted now as far as i am aware and both do not work, perhaps something on the flexible board, bad connection, etc, is the issue.

I do have a full working set of clocks that i could send you to test, if need be you could then 'pinch' the odometer assy out of it and migrate into yours.

I also have another assembly that i believe works also.

We did spend sometime looking at that, and I spent about 2 hours winding it forwards to match the mileage the car had done as I had kept a note of it. Thats dedication for you! It worked for the time I owned the car until I sold it the following winter, Sir Charles might know when it stopped or perhaps the owner after that? Its probably been some time.

I remember it was a total pain in the bum to get sorted. Poor old girl sounds like the years are catching up on her. Ash, I shamelessly stalk you to see how shes doing! I'm glad you are restoring her, I saw a red UK spec at the weekend and it pulled at some heart strings... However my other half said "I'd never have gone on another date with you if you had one of those..." so... lol

After further liaising with Ash, i am sending him an untouched odometer/trip with a 122km reading, i should of sent to you Wavey first for winding back for the correct miles reading !!

Is he volunteering? Lol, unfortunately it'd actually over 122k now, have lost its exact millage but at least I'll have a mileage for its rebuild engine.

Thanks, again.
