Hi all.. I'm starting this thread to find out who is likely to be attending the JAE this year.

 

After the news that we have 4 pitches booked on the site for the weekend, I would like to see how many people are going to jae and who is interested in camping for the weekend etc with a view to getting something organised for everyone.

 

I have a four stroke generator available for power supplies and should be able to get a barbecue together for food.

Maybe even sort out some music or even karaoke if anyone out there would enjoy it?

 

The main aim here is to find out who is planning on attending and how many of us there will be for the weekend.

 

So, if you plan on going or would like to go, please let me know here.

If we're constantly struggling for numbers, would it not be a good idea to try and make a more formal arrangement with another z club for organising/sharing meet information? I have no idea what the logistics would be like, just an idea!

Done it last year for JAE. I had a thread running in Z club, 350Z club and here. I spent days updating the three threads. We had a large Marquee, large gas BBQ, free food, tables, chairs, power. I had special ID cards made up with all three clubs logo on it. We had two members from Zclub and about five members from the 350Z club turn up and I was grateful for there attendance. But for the amount of time and money put into JAE 2015 it was not the success I thought it would of been. Infact I got some negative feedback on how it could of been handled better which is fine but when you put so much time into something trying to organise an event which is a great distance from me it leaves you feeling that this event is not working for this club. So this year we are trying something different with our own show at Coventry and we are having an AGM to see what our members want from the club and what the Committee want from our members, traders and REO's.
