Boot lid struts

Hi guys, having trouble with the boot lid struts, it's a two man operation to open the boot and then it only stays up for a minute or so before slamming shut, anyone got a pair of good condition ones lying around or is there a way to fix my existing ones???

    You can try removing the weight in the bootlid which might help keep it up... But I have got a couple I can wrap up with the other bits :yes:

    If it has a standard spoiler fitted it probably full of water which is weighing it down rather than the struts been weak.

    Cheers guys, yeah, the boot lid spoiler is going to be switched out for a Twinz one when it gets here:thumbup1:

    Baz, I'll take a pair of struts either way, just in case
