Just thought I'd see what Admin et al thought about this:

We all know that most of the tech guides over on the US sites are missing pics etc and are a nightmare to follow because of that.

Lately I've seen a number of people posting up threads asking for DIY guides. Those guides have been covered on the US sites, but as I say the pics rarely work.

Would it be worth badgering the members to start making up some new How To guides? For everything for the most basic (changing pads) through to the bigger jobs that members undertake.

Having the resource here would surely be a good thing?

The current FAQ/Guides section is quite untidy with some Guides being in FAQ areas and so on.

I have no issues referring people to Google or 3ZC, but since members pay for the privilege of using this forum, surely it would be good to keep the info here.

I may be way off the mark with this suggestion, in which case I'll climb back in my hole. But just thought I'd see what you thought.

Cheers

A few years ago i spent a fair bit of time adding and creating some threads for the faq section and its always welcome when we have some new info to place in there. I need to do some tidying up in there and if anyone has anything on their hardrive pic wise to add to some of our How To's then feel free to post them up.

I agree it can be so frustrating when you get a write up on TT.net etc and no pics, sort of defeats the object really lol.

Get's my vote Lexx :thumbup1: Would be very nice to have a club "database" for all stuff zed..
