So I think I'm doing to need a DB killer for track use, static on tick over my new system is 116db that was recorded on my phone so not sure how accurate it is, but it's loud lol

 

It didn't seem that loud when first fitted but now it's been on a few days it seems louder maybe the silencer bedded in or something

 

Maybe it's all the flames it kicks out lol

 

Anyone suggest a good DB killer or should I just get an eBay one?

test it at 4krpm should be no more than 97db @ 1meter away .... on most tracks ..

 

u can buy those exhaust bungs from ebay they work very well

Just got a list of tracks up most are 100db few upto 105 think there was only 1 or 2 at 98db limit didn't do mine at 1meter away will have to try that

you must check the limits on the event day ...

it does change .. but if you aim for 97db u will be well with in regs if they have a lower limit for that day

more or less when there are event shows happening

 

been on Donnington and castle combe both was 97

Hmmm needs to be quieted down quite abit then, will have to try a bung n see how that goes
