Here are the minutes as noted by Richard Smith at our club AGM, Sat 8th September 2012 held at JAE, Wicksteed Park, Northampton at 14:30hrs.

Committee present: Craig, Richard, Groover, Gary Wilson and Jaikai.

1. Committee introduction: giving some background, history and incite from each member of the committee to all present.

2.Thanks was given to Vodkashots (Ian) for organising and arranging the 300zx.co.uk club stand at JAE 2012

3. Shows and Meets:

To create more successful meets and events throughout the coming year, it is suggested that REO's get involved more with organising local meets and that the members of each area should try to support the REO when a meet is arranged.

Also suggested, that having a joint REO for each region would make the job of organising and attending a meet more successful, taking the pressure from one person alone and enabling either one or both to attend an arranged meet.

Any REO attending next years JAE are invited to lend a hand at the event with meet and greet, BBQ and possible set up of the stand with the NEO.

Joint meets with the Zclub have been successful and we encourage our members to support all arranged events where ever possible, getting involved brings added benefits of making new friends in the community and gaining valuable knowledge from long established members and those with the technical know how and having fun in the process.

Regional banners: It was suggested that REO's have access too, or have their own banners for regional events to represent 300zx.co.uk.

The clubs existing banners are available from our NEO (Vodkashots) for events not clashing with a club or national event.

Andy Isherwood stated that, "Giving the REO's the tools to put on meets, would encourage more meets," for example, banners and funding.

Vodkashots to post up onto the REO forums to encourage more local meets and advise RE banners and funding.

Regional funding is available for REO's upon request, REO's can also apply for funds upon production of receipts to cover costs of arranging meets/events, but most REO's were not aware of this.

4. Over moderation? most of the time it looks like we get it right and continue to monitor the situation.

5.Banning: Should a permanent or lifetime ban be reduced to (say) 1 year? Perhaps a lifetime ban, if a banned member continues to break rules or do wrong upon their return.

Banning process was explained and members made aware that banning a member is not taken lightly or without considerable discussion.

Committee will review this point and post in club announcements once a decision has been made.

Anyone with a lifetime ban should be able to ask for the ban to be rescinded after sufficient time.

All banned members still do have right of appeal.

6. Trading: Sales template- should we use it or should we continue on current easy trust basis?

7.AGM's and the future: The committee will endeavor to hold an AGM each year and JAE looks set to be a great success in 2013.

Head moderator announced and the award for best moderator 2011/2012 goes to StellaZ

Meeting closed.
