I know what your saying.

Its not a dream car of mine, id just love one.

Saw one today which is what made me look. £100k car not very long ago!

Most ive spent on a car is £10k, and i regretted that!

You should defo sell all your cars and buy somethin kick ass. I reckon that's a steal

Trade aswell, pay your deposit and finance the rest. Trade it in for somethin else after 3yrs.

What id lose in 3 years i bet on that, would kill me!

Yeah, but let's say u pay £9k deposit and finance the rest. After 3yrs, the sl is worth maybe 12? Then use the 12 for the deposit on your next toy. Fair enough, you'll be paying £350 a month, but you'll keep renewing your car every 3 years. That way, you can get something better each time :)

Oh, and don't let depreciation put you off. The sl will not depreciate by as much as wee spend bolting aftermarket junk onto our zeds :)

SL has already done most of its depreciation lol.

it will drop but slowly, and not by much. I seen them for 15k, knock them down with the recession and fuel cost arguement. reckon you could get one for 14k.

in 3 years, prob worth the same if you keep mileage down

kids can sit in the back of the 1.0 Diesel runaround you would have to get for day to day mileage lol

The wife would never go for it, where would the kids sit??

Trailer?

you could always fit a roof rack and strap the kids to that... granted, you may not be able to actually put the convertible top down if you do that though... :)

All well and good but you'd need to sell a kidney if it killed the gearbox or knackered the bottom end, not that it's very likely but I'd shudder to think of the repair bill if something major did go pop, probably be more than the cars worth!!!
