Awesome, i bet there's a few people now trying to work out how they can get there hands on them (legally or otherwise).

Bagsy the blue 635 (always loved the shape of the old 6 series, shame the new one is such a fat barge-like thing).

Good find Sudesh!

I hoping I may stumble across a barn-find over here in the UAE - god only knows what sort of exotics there would be.. I'm off for a drive in the desert.

Alan............

You still see a lot of deserted cars in the airport car parks - but nothing really exciting. Then again, dust gathers so quickly its difficult to tell how long they've been there - could just be a couple of weeks!

I bet there's some bargains to be had there though. Shame they're not individual lots - as I cannot afford to buy 20 odd cars just at the mo. If it was next week, then it'd be completely different.. honest!

Anyway, people in Dubai are far too busy borrowing more money to buy new performance cars. Apparently, it is not uncommon for some Emiraties to have borrowed upto 20 times there annual income. Good to see everyone is learning!

already seen it, it's another hoax apperently, one car (the 5 series) has mud on it's wheels, the tyre's aint flat and there isnt enough dust on them

Not sure I'd call it a hoax, the original story was speculation, but yeh its not entirely accurate as its not completely abandoned.

There is another article where they met he owner, but he was not interested in letting anyone in or discussing the situation. He has a cleaner and gardener that maintains the place and there is an underground storage area with the possibility of further cars.

Fascinating read :) I love stuff like this!

I used to work at a strawberry farm as a supervisor in my student days over the summer and one year we were called to help push some cars from one barn to another.

When i say "a few cars" what i mean was 7 aston martin DB5s dry stored under dust sheets and 3 jag e-types and a couple of other ones i didn't see. Forfilled a childhood dream to sit behind the wheel of a DB5 and an e-type! :hyper:
