Yeah was a awesome day, was nice to meet up and actually do some car work with someone else who new what they were doing, rather than saying "nope your doing it wrong, no dont do that, what the feck are you doing" and "put that down before someone gets bloody killed" lol

 

Also nice to find i have some nice new engine mounts on my old engine :)

 

the bendy spanner was also quite funky lol

 

though the highlight of the day, was finding how much oil a intercooler can hold lol

The IC was mental, as you were saying, makes you see the benefits of a catch tank but You'd have needed a maaahoosive one for that amount of oil :lol:

and the over sized pulley, i think there is a Nismo gearbox mount on the old gearbox i took off as well, as its spanking new :blink: so will be getting that off before the gearbox gets weighed in

totally agree with you on that, now just need a decent hicas eliminator bar, and a N/A pot to go with the N/A power steering pump, a light weight crank pulley, and chromed power steering pulley, have to admit, considering i polished that CAS up my self, it looks really good on the engine, well chuffed with that, going to give it a final polish as well as the water pipes and get some 2k clear coat on them.

Sounds like a plan mate. The CAS looked spot on.

Shouldn't be a problem, we'll get them drilled and tapped tomorrow. Won't be able to tell about the the thread size needing enlarged until they get drilled. From looking at them though they should be OK being re-threaded the original size.

 

PS Don't forget to get some wd40. lol
